Come to the dark side, Luke-Matthew Telfer

It would be hard for me to say that there is no absolute good and evil. Every year we're reminded on September 11 of the evil in the world. True evil can be seen when terrorists hijack planes to murder thousands of innocent people. Yet only a few instances are this black and white. I have to agree the gray area is more evident in everyday life.

No one is perfect and every person makes mistakes. The same can be said for the concepts of good and evil. Good people do bad things once in a while, but that's what makes them human. Yet what separates a good person from a bad person are the repeated negative actions. What makes a person good may not be what positive actions they perform, it may be that they just aren't chronically carrying out negative actions.

Good and evil will be a part of society until the end of time. As long as different personalities exist in the world there will be both sides. Therefore we can't eliminate it once and for all. You can't have one without the other. There has to be a balance. Both terms can be explained by the degree a person can connect with others around them in multiple situations. Of course they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Good people are more compassionate while evil people are only concerned with their own feelings and emotions.
