Technology has shaped my life in a positive way from the second I was old enough to have my first cell phone. Without technology, how would the world stay connected? We have the ability to know anything or learn anything in seconds. Every advancement from here on out in our world will be fueled by modern technology.
In my life, I was most strongly affected by technology in my first year of high school. My parents helped me buy a mac laptop to use for school work, and it changed the way I do things. Technology has helped me become interactive with the world while still being in my own house. It is a kind of freedom that is irreplaceable in today's world.
If there is one thing that I fear with technology, it is if we become too dependent on it for our daily lives. We must be able to use technology to our advantage without letting it control our lives and change us. If we become too dependent on technology, then we will lose our ability to manage our own lives. At the slightest risk of technology failing us in the coming years, we have to be able to manage like we used to when 21st century technology wasn't the center of our world.
