All we hear about nowadays is technology as we hover around the campfire waiting for the next iPhone. It seems commonplace nowadays to bash and criticize our over reliance on technology, but it shouldn't be that way. Technology has, of course, affected us all in a positive way.
Yes, in a similar manner, technology has also affected us negatively, but there are many more examples of positive technology. It allows us to connect with our friends, it makes our lives easier, it entertains us, and far too many more to name. Technology shouldn't be a crutch for humanity but a representation of our capabilities, a way to show what we can do, who we can be.
Technology has allowed me to do so many things. Heck, that's how I'm even writing this blog, online! Through tech, we have found more efficient ways to produce food, electricity, medicine, and much more.
All of these have not only affected me positively, but everyone else as well. Technology is like any other tool and when it is used for malevolence, just as it is for benevolence, it is not at the fault of technology, but at the fault of humanity.
