Create Your Own Adventure-Elle Ogden

Prompt 1: As juniors, we are about six weeks into the most important year of high school. Though most of us don't want to think about it, college is right around the corner. Many students (including myself) have used fall break as a chance to explore colleges. What are you looking for in a college? What is your dream school? Where do you see yourself furthering your education?

Prompt 2: We have all been to a zoo at least once during our childhood and seen the exotic animals that, in my opinion, are held unfairly against their will. But that's not the point. There's such a variety of exotic animals on display. If you could have one exotic animal as a pet, what would it be? What would you name it? What would you do with it?

Prompt 3: Nike or Adidas? One of the hardest decisions for an athlete to make. We all have our favorite brand, but sometimes we can be torn between them. What's your favorite brand? Do you have one thing that just has to be a certain brand? How did you decide that was the brand you loved?

Response: Prompt #2
Personally, I do not like zoos. They make me sad and a tad bit angry that even today, when so many species are going extinct, we treat animals so poorly. However, when I was little the monkey exhibit was always my favorite. I've always wanted a monkey. I would really like a spider monkey. You know, the ones that you can dress up and put on a leash and take for walks. I think they're absolutely adorable, but sadly, illegal. If it were legal, I would get two spider monkeys and name them George and Rosy. George would definitely have to wear a yellow hat. That would not be optional.

Polar bears. They're great too. But, a polar bear would be hard to keep in your backyard. I also feel that it would be difficult to take a polar bear for walks. If you were able to have a polar bear as a pet, I would only want one. I'd probably name him Bear because it flows well. But since all of this is against the law, I will stick with my three dogs, whom I do love very much.
