1. Life is full of pivotal moments. The only way we grow and change is through our experience. Many life shaping events happen to us in our high school years. Pick a moment in the past two years thats changed your life for worse or for better and describe it.
2. Describe what you want a day in your 26 year old life to be like. What do you want to wake up and see 10 years from now? Then tell what you plan to do to get your life to that point.
3. Halloweens coming up in less than a month, and its a day where everyone can hide their true selves and take on a new identity. If you could pick any character from a book or movie to not only dress as, but to become for 24 hours who would it be and why?
Response to prompt 3:
If I were to become any character from a book or movie it would be, without a shadow of a doubt, Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. I've loved Hermione since I first read about her in 3rd grade. Granted I didn't know how to pronounce her name at first, but she was everything I wanted to be. I'm 90% sure everyone in this class has read Harry Potter so I probably don't need to explain why she's so great, but I will anyways. Hermione was not only a genius, she was bad a, fiercely independent, and a loyal friend. At age 13, she used a magical device to take as many classes as possible, which is a wanna-be overachievers dream. Hermione ended up with it all; the guy, the kids, the great job, and really cool wizard powers. She was ten times as smart as Ron and Harry, and I would much rather read the series from her perspective. Hermione is the feminist hero every girl needs, and to be as cool as she is even for 24 hours, thats the dream.
