BOO- Elle Ogden

As cliche as it sounds, I think my biggest fear comes in the form of a slimy reptile. Yes, I am absolutely terrified of snakes. As a child I was never one to grab the lizard off the rock in Florida, or even go near a fishing pole because the thought of touching the worm or the fish was too much. There's actually an incredibly hilarious picture from my uncle's houseboat where I attempted fishing, on specific agreements, which were not kept. I had agreed to fish if I didn't have to touch the worm or the fish. So when I caught a fish, my lovely father decided to make me touch it by forcing me near the fish. Lets just say it made for a full on screaming 9 year old and some great pictures. But if anything could cause extreme fear for me, it would be snakes.

I remember in 7th grade science we had to dissect fetal pigs. Okay, not that bad, I did it again in 9th grade; I never enjoyed it, but I could do it. But the 6th grade class that year, they had to dissect snakes. Which meant there were snakes in the room. Dead or alive, I hate snakes. I was absolutely terrified. And my science teacher thought it would be oh so funny to hang the skin of one of the snakes over the white board. So, so, so funny. I remember begging him to take it down, which he wouldn't. All I can say is, thank goodness I was not in 6th grade, because he would have never gotten me in that classroom.
