Zombie Apocalypse 101: Any fans of The Walking Dead understand what it takes to fight off zombies and survive in a world with no balance. Sadly, every person in that show seems to die except for the guy on the cover of the DVDs in the cowboy hat. With that said, i am going to describe a bit more elaborate strategy without any prior preparation included because obviously you don't know when the zombies will strike.
The zombies have arrived. Where does everyone go? Every person tries to eave their house and then every car is on the streets ripe for the picking by the zombies. My family and I would lay low for about two days and I am in constant communication with one of my friends. We have thought this plan out before. We make a run for Lake cumberland with 4 cars full of everything we need from our houses including our dogs. Then we get on the house boat on the end of the dock. It is unlikely zombies will make it there but if they do we can take the boat out on the water.
We would be able to stay out on the water with 5 nights before having to recharge the generator, but than we would restock on food. It is a perfect system and it would last until the apocalypse is taken care of.
