Assignment 11: Elana Ehl

I sit next to two people in English this year so I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to write about both of them: Dara and Katie. For the sake of organization I'll talk about Dara first.

I know Dara really enjoys art. I mean she loves it. All the time  during class when we aren't doing anything productive she is always sketching new cartoons in her sketchbook. It's interesting to see because I have always seen people doodle during class but never with a purpose like Dara. If I remember correctly she even sold some of her pieces at the Lexington Comic Con. In five years I see Dara probably finishing art school (I don't know where she wants to go) and probably selling her art in a gallery or maybe making cartoons for comic book companies like Marvel. I do know for a fact that she love Marvel and especially Ironman. To answer the question of what animal Dara would be I see her as a puffin. Puffins look similar to some penguins but then all of a sudden they are flying and you realize that they aren't penguins, and just like Dara looks are deceiving.

Now on to Katie. Katie has such a bible personality that it's hard not to be in a good mood around her. To be completely honest I have no idea what Katie does in her free time. I know she is a straight A student and probably devotes a lot of time to her studies, something that I definitely admire because I struggle with it. I do know though that Katie is a One Direction fan. I know this mainly because before class she is always talking to either Alexis or the Spiveys about them. In my opinion you would never know she was a 1D fan because 1D fans have been labeled as super outgoing, crazy, and intense about 1D. It completely goes against the stereotype and proves that you should never judge a book by its cover. I see Katie as a koala bear because koalas are cute and cuddly and you could never be mad at one.
