This is a picture of the Boston Marathon Bombing that occurred on April 15, 2013. This terrorist attack killed 3 people and injured 264 others. This was an attack on some of the most elite athletes in our nation. This changed the way famous athletic events would run from now on. I remember I was on a school trip when this happened and our entire class spent the rest of the time on our trip watching the news to see how this would unfold. It makes me sick that someone would do something so terrible to these people. I'm glad the perpetrators were caught and I hope that something like this never happens again.
