What is it good for? Morgan Lakofka

I wish there wasn’t a time for war, but sometimes it’s hard to think of another solution. When violence and threats come into play, it’s in the best interest to protect what’s being threatened. Certain aspects of war aren’t morally right. For instance, it’s never morally right to kill but it is morally right to defend, and stand up for your country. War goes against the morals most people have been taught. But it is hard to avoid when you are head on with another country that doesn’t want to solve the problem with non-violence. I do believe war should be an absolute last resort, I never expect war to go away, because it’s sometimes necessary. In order to go to war, you must fight with a cause that’s important to the country as a whole. From the outside, looking in, people should try to compromise more, it seems like it’d be a lot nicer that way.
