Shammies. Probably the best invention in the world of diving, or course only surpassed by the bathing suit that makes it all possible. I spend much of my time at practice holding mine, using it to dry off, using it to keep warm, and even using it as a weapon to ward off the pesky little kids practicing too. I have had my shammy for wonderful years and have never thought of what it would do if it came alive while I wasn't with it.
My Shammy would most likely stay somewhere moist because if it dries out it becomes stiff and immovable. Maybe it would hop in the shower or take a bath to absorb as much moisture it could. I know for sure though that what ever my shammy did in my house it would have to be undetected by my cat. My cat attacks anything that moves that is not attached to a human being, he tried that once and lets just say it didn't work out well for him. My shammy would most likely avoid direct contact with the sun because that would cause it to dry out. So essentially my shammy is a vampire that needs water instead of blood to survive.
